Jiayuguan Walking Street

Jiayuguan walking street is situated in the center of downtown in the south of the city.  The street is filled with different kinds of stores. The total length of this street is 400 meters from east to west and the total breadth is100 meters from south to north. This street occupies an area of 61000 square kilometers. There are a variety of goods that can be purchased, most are very popular with the Chinese as well as foreign visitors. The well-known specialties here include Yeguan Cup (Night Glittering Cup), rubbings of Wei and Jin tomb murals, stone carvings and assorted carpets.
