Day 1 Anshun One Day Tour
You may start the day tour by visiting the White Pagoda. First built in the year 1326 of Yuan Dynasty, the well-preserved White Pagoda still stands elegantly on Xixiu hill in the city center. The White Pagoda is one of the ancient famous pagodas that can be reckoned up on the fingers of one's hand in whole Guizhou Province. With neat and pleasing sculptures in it, the Pagoda looks very like a simplicity dressed lady appreciating the city views in a decent manner. When night falls, the pagoda will be lamped with while light, and then it is turely mysterious and peaceful. The admission fee is CNY20.00 net per person for the site.

Proceeding to your next destination, the Wenmiao Confucians Temple, which is located at Xixiu district. This Wenmiao Confucians Temple is among the four famous ancient groups of stone sculptures, and it is also one of the best preserved Wenmiao Confucians Temples of highest artistic value in China. Wenmiao Temple being noted for its exquisite layout, mighty scale and well-knit structure, was first built at the beginning of Ming Dynasty, so it has a history of more than 640 years old. In front of the Great Hall of the Confucius, there is a pair of stone pillars with dragons sculptured on both of them. These two stone pillars are one of the highlights of the temple because of their extremely delicate and life-like open-carved crafts. Experts and artists from home and abroad all marvel at theunique design and vivid sculptures. In addition, the temple has a Batik Art Museum, where you can see and take in the basic characteristics about batiks crafts of Buyi, Miao and Yi ethnic groups in Guizhou. The entrance fee is CNY30.00 net per person.

For rest of the day, you are advised to visit the Residence of Wang Ruofei, who was an outstanding revolutionist during the period of resistance to Japan. The residence was built by Wang Ruofei's great grandfather in Qing Dynasty with wooden and grey-green roof tiles. The admission fee is CNY20.00 net per person.

In the evening, you can have a try to the local snacks at the night markets near Guofu Street, East Street Crossing or Minzhu Road. If you want to buy some souvenirs during the tour, like the batik, the local opera facial design, root carving and etc, you are suggested to bargain with the shop keepers.
