Day 1 Arrive in Guiyang
Upon your arrival at the Guiyang Airport, you will be met by your guide, who will escort you to your hotel. Guizhou is nicknamed 'The Kingdom of Mountains', because 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus. In the evening you will have a welcoming banquet to get acquainted. Day 2 Guiyang-Jichang village-Guiyang
This day's tour will highlight one of the last surviving examples of the ancient Han ethnic minority group. In the morning you will be driven to the village of Jichang, 100 kilometers (1.5 hours). After having lunch in the village, you will witness the local Ground Opera(Dixi Opera), famed for its wooden masks. In the afternoon you will explore the nearby ancient Han Village. After, you will be driven back to Guiyang. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 3 Guiyang-Xiaba Damochong valley-Yandi white miao village-Guiyang
This morning you will be driven to Xiaba 100 kilometers (1.5 hours). You will spend the morning hiking through beautiful Damochong Valley with its quaint villages, bamboo groves, and clear streams. You will see local people make traditional Chinese paper the way they have for centuries. After, you will hike 3 hours to reach the Yandi White Miao Village, where you will visit a local Miao family. You will be driven back to Guiyang in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 4 Guiyang-Laotun village-Pingmin village
Today, we will be driven to Laotun village 4 hours, where you will hike to Pingmin Village 1.5 hours. Pingmin village is known for being home to the Split Thread Miao ethnic minority group. You will have dinner with a local family and gain a better understanding of life and customs of the Miao people. Stay overnight in Pingmin.

Day 5 Pingmin village-Kaili
After breakfast you will hike to Liuhe, 5 hours. Along the way you will follow beautiful mountain trails to reach the village of Liuhe. On the way you will stop for a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will be driven back to Kaili. Stay overnight in Kaili.

Day 6 Kaili-Qiaowang Long Skirt Miao Village
This day you will be driven to the beginning of the hiking trail at Leishan, 60 kilometers (1.5 hours). You will hike for seven hours to reach Qiaowang which is known for its Long-Skirt Miao minority group. Stay overnight in Qiaowang.

Day 7 Qiaowang-Guiyang
On this morning you will have breakfast in a local Miao family's traditional wooden house before hiking 4 hours to Paidiao, where your vehicle will be waiting for you. In Paidiao, you will be able to take a dip in a crystal clear stream before being driven to Guiyang. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 8 Guiyang departure
After breakfast your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
