Day 1 Arrive in Guiyang
Upon your arrival at the Guiyang Airport, you will be met by your guide, who will escort you to your hotel. Guizhou is nicknamed 'The Kingdom of Mountains', because 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus. In the evening you will have a welcoming banquet to get acquainted. Day 2 Guiyang-Jichang village-Guiyang
This day's tour will highlight one of the last surviving examples of the ancient Han ethnic minority group. In the morning you will be driven to the village of Jichang, 100 kilometers (1.5 hours). After having lunch in the village, you will witness the local Ground Opera, famed for its wooden masks. In the afternoon you will explore the nearby ancient Han Village. After, you will be driven back to Guiyang. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 3 Guiyang-Dazhai village
On this morning you will see the Guiyang's famous waist drum dancing in Wenchang Pavilion square. You will then be driven to Xiaba, 100 kilometers (1.5 hours), where you will explore the neighboring villages. After lunch, you will spend the afternoon hiking through Damochong Valley 1.5 hours, and stop in Dazhai Village where you will witness the traditional paper making arts that this village is famous for. Stay overnight in Dazhai Village.

Day 4 Dazhai-Yandi White Miao Village-Guiyang
You will spend the morning exploring Dazhai village. After, you will take a hike through the areas quaint mountain villages 3 hours, to reach the Yandi White Miao ethnic minority Village, where you will get the chance to visit a local family, and chat with them. In the afternoon you will be driven back to Guiyang. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 5 Guiyang-Leishan miao village-Maomaohe village
On this day you will be driven to Leishan County 3 hours, the heart of the Miao ethnic minority group in sourtheast Guizhou. From Leishan, you will hike for half an hour to reach the Maomaohe Village, known for its Long skirt Miao ethnic group, a subgroup of the Miao ethnic minority group. Upon entering the village, you will be welcomed with a traditional Miao welcoming ceremony. You will have dinner with the local people to give you a better understanding into their ancient way of life. Weather permitting, there will be a bonfire party in your honor where most of the village will show up. Stay overnight in Maomaohe Village.

Day 6 Maomaohe village-Paika village-Datang short shirt miao village-Guiyang
After having breakfast in Maomaohe Village, you will be driven to Paika Village. You will explore Paika Village. In the afternoon you will visit Datang Village, inhabited by the Short Skirt Miao, a subgroup of the Miao ethnic minority group. Datang is well known for its beautiful dancing and singing performances. Local villagers will welcome you with their reknown hospitality. In the late afternoon you will be driven back to Guiyang. Stay overnight in Guiyang.

Day 7 Guiyang Departure
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
