Almost all hotels and guesthouses in Kaili serve Chinese dishes, while the genuine local food is in the fantastic stalls and restaurants lining the street. They always serve delicious food at low price, such as Gaoxi Kuaihuolin Restaurant, located in Gaoxi county; Gaga Beef Stewed with Sour Soup, located at Ximahe (five minutes walking from Kaili Long-distance Bus Station); Restaurant Street, located at Qingping Bei Lu; Beijing Lu Night Market, located at Beijing Lu (usually opened after 20:00pm); and Niuchangba Snack Night Market, located near by Guotai Grand Hotel.
