There is a saying that Guide is famous for pears and Xiangtang for melons, while Huangyuan for Ganban fish. It is absolutely true. Qinghai province abounds in Huang fish which is famous far and near for its fleshy, tender meat and delicious taste. To get out the viscera, cleaning, and to put them on hot stone or sand by size, when dried it is Ganban fish which can be cooked into flavored dish, tasty tender, after being saturated soft.
