The Yak Hotel is a famous hotel in the heart of Lhasa city in Tibet. It takes just five minute walking to the Jokhang Temple, Ramoche monastery, and the Barkhor street from hotel.
The Yak hotel was officially opened in April 1986 and has received an average of over 6000 guests a year. It has 62 rooms and 185 beds, with standard, medium and deluxe rooms, and 24-hour hot water available everyday.
The restaurant of the hotel is located to the left of the front gate. It serves excellent Tibetan and Chinese cuisine. It is one of the best and most well known Tibetan-style restaurants in Lhasa.
