It is exciting to step up onto the flight at Guangzhou where it is zero meter high at the sea level and a couple of hours later to step down on to the Wordl Roof. Take your time at Lhasa, the holy city, where stands Potala, the huge lord castle and take trips to Yamdrok, where a majestic glacier is beheld, to Sakya, where Tibetan philosophy is found, to Rongbuk, where there is Base Camp of Mt Everst, to Namtso, by which stands Nianqin Tanggula, the holy mountain of all the northern tribes.

Detailed Itinerary
Day01: Shanghai-Lhasa
Tour members meet together at Shanghai airport and fly to Lhasa. arrival at Gongkar Airport(3600m);105km ride to Tsetang Town(3551m) and check-in at Longma Hotel or Yulong Hotel or Post Hotel according to reservation.
Day02: Lhasa Visit
Potala, religio-political center of Old Tibet; Jokang, final destination of all sects; and spend hours at Barkhor, the heart of Lhasa.
Day03: Lhasa-Shigatse
400km ride to Shigatze(3800m), the capital of Rear Tibet, via Gyantse( 3900m), the typical Tibetan town. Visits to Pelkor Chode. Drive on to check-in at hotel at Shigaste
Day04: Shigatse-Tingri
360km ride to Tingri(4500m), where a nice view of Mt Cho Oyu(8150m), Everest(8848m) and Lhotse(8516m) is beheld. Guesthouse.On the way to visit Sakya, (built in 1073, 4200m high), the premier monastery of Grey Sect or Sakya in Tibetan. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day05: Tingri- Rongbuk
100km ride to Rongbuk(built in 1899, 4980m high). 8km ride by cart to the Base Camp(5200m).Guesthouse.
Day06:BC-Xigatse
Drive back to Shigatse
Day07: Xigatse-Tingri
Visit to Tashilhumpo, Panchan Lamas seat.
Day08: Drive to Namtso and overnight at Dangxiong
Day09: Drive back to Lhasa and visit Drepung, the largest monastery in the world.
Day10: Visit Sera Monastery and city sightseeing.
Day11:Fly back to Shanghai.
