Yarlong tsangpo grand canyon is renowned for its longest and deepest valley in the world.Her turbulent rapids,arduous gorge,skyscraping peaks,exuberant forests are full of attraction.Due to the limit of the fiece environment and poor transpoatation,the grand canyon was only accessed by seldom scientists teams.Located in the grand canyon,the namchebawa peak
means"the burning peak" in tibetan.Though it"s the 15th peak around the world (altitude 7782m),the comparative altitude is 4800m,you can have an intense eye impact at foot of the peak. And also the fog and cloud add more to its mystery.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:Chengdu - Lhasa
Depart from Chengdu, meet at a designated location (0600AM), and transfer to Chengdu Shuangliu airport. Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport which at a elevation of 3000 meters, drive to Lhasa urban, en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made 11th century and Tibetan village etc. on the drive to Lhasa and check in the Hotel , Free and Have rest in this afternoon.Dinner by your self. (No tour guide service whole day except the Tibetan guide will pick up you at Lhasa airport, please do not have extreme physical activity.)
Day 2: Lhasa-Basum Tso-Bayi
after breakfast,head to lake Basongcuo,which is the national forest park.then we'll visit the 'taizhao' old city,(original name Jiangda),which is the converge point of ancient Chuang-tibat road,tsing-tibet road.the'mainstay' is located in the middle stream of niyang river,accompanied with turbulent torrent and steep valley.
Day 3:Bayi-Lulang forest sea-Bayi
after breakfast,sightseeing on the view stage.then drive to the center pier of yalong tsangpo scenery area,en rout sightseeing holy spring,king of the mulberry trees, the celestial burial platform,then embark the yacht heading for Dapai town,watching the water burial platform.after Lunch,the essence of this itinerary finally unveiled today. the first bend of yarlong tsangpo river and namche barwa peak are breath takingly imposing.you can take photos by the grand canyon monument.then return to Bayi,pass by the giant cypress trees.
Day 4: Bayi-Lhasa
After breakfast,return to Lhasa.
Day 5:Lhasa Urban Full Day Tour
Lhasa urban tour attraction: Potala PalaceNorbulingka - the Summer Palace Jokhang Temple Barkhor Street, Ramoche temple Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery are all located in Lhasa urban. Overnight in Lhasa.
Day6:Lhasa-Chengdu
Depart from Lhasa to Chengdu by flight, end tour.
